Yes. Our formulas are anti-inflammatory by design. We avoid the most common sensitizers found in mainstream skincare. That said, every skin is unique — we always recommend a patch test, especially if you have active rosacea, eczema, or a compromised barrier.

100% cruelty-free.We never test on animals, nor do we work with suppliers who do. The majority of our line is vegan; any exceptions (such as rare botanical waxes) are clearly noted on the product page.

We source from small, vetted suppliers who prioritize regenerative growing practices. Herbs, essential oils, and plant actives are chosen for both potency and provenance — we trace ingredients to the farm wherever possible.

Most formulas last 60–90 days with regular twice-daily use. Because we use no synthetic preservatives, we recommend storing products away from direct sunlight and humidity, and using clean hands or a spatula when dispensing from jars.

Yes. Our formulas are non-comedogenic and free from pore-clogging silicones and heavy waxes. Many of our clients with acne-prone skin see significant improvement because we address inflammation at its root rather than stripping the skin's natural barrier.

Skin has a natural 28-day renewal cycle. Most clients notice improved texture and clarity within 2–4 weeks,with deeper improvements in tone and firmness becoming visible by 8–12 weeks of consistent use. Skincare is a ritual, not a quick fix.

In most cases, yes — our gentle, non-reactive formulas complement prescription treatments well. However, we always recommend consulting your dermatologist if you are on retinoids, antibiotics, or other active prescriptions before introducing any new skincare.

Orders are processed within 2–3 business days. Standard shipping is 5–7 business days within the US. Expedited options are available at checkout. International orders typically arrive within 10–18 business days depending on customs.

About Stevie & Our Story

Stevie is a CIDESCO Esthetician, Herbalist, and Aromatherapist with over 25 years of professional experience. She grew up immersed in alternative medicine, herbs, and essential oils — a world that shaped her holistic philosophy that skin is a reflection of who we truly are from the inside out.

In 2020, Stevie stopped waiting for someone else to create what she knew was missing in skincare. She founded Urban Alchemy Lab to build a sanctuary where botanical wisdom meets modern science— a place where every product honors your skin's intelligence rather than fighting it.

We are based at Heights Skincare, 2200 N Loop West, Suite 332, Houston, TX 77018. Our studio is open Mon–Fri 8:30am–10:30pm, Saturday 8:30am–10:30pm, and Sunday 8:30am–10:30pm. We welcome visits by appointment.
